Beaver products are prized for their incredible warmth, luxurious texture and longevity and durability of skin as a material. The history of the beaver trade dates back centuries, if not, millennium and countries like Russia, Scandinavia and Central Asia were a part of the fur trade through the 15th century. Even Mediterranean and Middle Eastern countries were supplied beaver fur by Constantinople and can be traced back to Greek and Roman periods and as far as to the first humans.
This bag was created by nuisance beavers that dammed areas of the Oconee River (Ga) and sub sequentially effected the fish population. The meat was given to local wildlife game dinner fundraising for land conservation.
